A ripe 5am start and a 2+ hour drive Broome to Derby, was made magical when greeted by the sun peering over the horizon and painting the sky through a range of blushing oranges and splashes of yellow. And halfway through the drive I was gifted a magical moment: I pulled over to the side of the road simply to admire a magnificent eagle only a few metres in front of me that stood as tall as a small cow, and when it spread its wings and took to flight I was purely in awe of its wing span (and no photos as was a moment of presence).

Yoga Desire was the perfect place to host this intimate wellbeing workshop, and I am so grateful for Taryn’s assistance in helping me establish a warm, inviting & colourful safe space. Seriously, just look at this delightful set up…

I had the pleasure of sharing the next 3 hours with incredibly charming ladies, jam-packing those hours full of interactive activities, mindful inspirations & mind mapping, and lots of wellbeing tips. This group of women were admirably vulnerable, supportive and encouraging of each other, and being a part of such environment was especially humbling; because I truly believe the people we surround ourselves with are imperative to our wellbeing:

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”
– African Proverb

This workshop is designed to engagingly explore various angles of mindfulness and wellbeing, providing a platform for attendants to learn more about the holistic self (the workings of the mind, body & human spirit) and opening to them a toolkit of knowledge (personal and professional), techniques and tips which they can equip themselves with to continue to maintain, construct or renovate their own well-being at and following the workshop.

While I could go on for pages about the workshop itself and all things I’m passionate about, I thought it best to let others do some of the talking! So what is it the #MindFulltoMindful attendants had to say, well here’s just a few reviews:

“I thoroughly enjoyed Chantelle’s Mind-full to Mindful workshop. She was authentic & very knowledgeable on the topic. I found all the mindfulness techniques & tips shared extremely valuable and I feel empowered to add them to my mindfulness tool kit. Loved the meditation at the end!”

“Chantelle is welcoming & very knowledgeable, and it is a great start to a journey of personal development. I valued the great explanation of deletion, distortion & generalisation, and the learning was extensive (for only a small investment). It helped me and was value for money, so thank you for a wonderful morning

“This workshop gave me practical useful information you can use every day, and it was amazing value for money! Chantelle is very insightful, helpful & gentle – a great speaker. She really made me think about a lot of things – how the mind works, the mind-body relationship, and useful tips on how to change the mind. I am very happy with the session”

In addition to these three written reviews above, some lovely ladies also went out of their way to share their feedback by star reviews and on my facebook business page. I am so thankful to have shared this day with you all, and for receiving your reviews about your experiences and learnings.

Finally, I want to say a MASSIVE LOVE-FILLED THANKS to Yoga Desire’s soulful founder, Taryn. She not only attended, but also kindly gave her time pre-workshop to help me set up a welcoming, safe and colourful space; BUT wait, there’s more… Taryn also generously donated glass dispensers of filtered water, home brewed cold tea, and home brewed kefir; the perfect accompaniments to the subject of wellbeing! She truly went above & beyond and I am tremendously grateful, as were all the attendees who reviewed the venue as (in their words) perfect, awesome, comfortable, welcoming, great, very peaceful, and relaxed.

I feel very lucky and am eternally grateful for every person that invites me in and allows me to share not only my passion, but a part of their ever-continuing self discovery journey! After all my dream is to radically improve the quality of lives collectively around the globe, one mind at a time – and whether a client/attendant, follower or blog reader; you are that one mind, and that in itself is an amazing privilege. Thank you!

With love, always – Chantelle Xx
